Historic Highland castle set to feature on new first class stamps


One of the Highlands’ most famous castles is to feature on a first-class stamp as the Royal Mail completes its alphabetical odyssey around the UK.
Urquhart Castle on the banks of Loch Ness is one of the A-Z of stamps featured as part of an alphabetical tour of UK.
In its day, Urquhart Castle was one of the largest strongholds of mediaeval Scotland and has been the location for many sightings of the Loch Ness Monster.
